Hi, my name is Nishan Senthirajah. I currently live in the Upper East Side of New York City. I am an avid fan of the NBA (but you knew that), love traveling and taking in new places and experiences, am pretty good at Blackjack (about half the time), can dabble in some brown cooking and will happily watch my favorite TV shows on repeat (DM for the full list).

By way of background, I am from Portland, OR (Blazers fan for sure, but this will be expanded upon). I graduated from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks) in 2017 and started my tenure in NYC shortly after. As you could probably grasp from my name and the name of this blog, I do have a brown background – my father grew up in Malaysia with Sri Lankan / South Indian parents, but here’s the twist: my mother is English; she grew up in a small country town three hours southwest of London…I know, multicultural as f*** so you know I’m checking that diversity box on every personal details form.

Continuing, I’ve always strived to stay involved with the NBA. I believe that you should never discount your passions; the NBA is mine and I guess this is my way of giving back to it. Enjoy.
